### Terms and Conditions for Purchasing or Hiring Evening Gowns
#### 1. **Deposit and Payment Terms**
- **Purchasing:** A non-refundable deposit of 80% of the total gown price is required to secure the order. This deposit must be paid one month prior to the event date. The remaining 20% balance is due before the gown is delivered or collected.
- **Hiring:** A deposit plus a R500 refundable holding fee is required. The holding fee is refundable upon the return of the garment in defect-free condition.
#### 2. **Fabric and Measurements**
- Fabric is purchased only after receipt of the deposit. Once the fabric is confirmed, it cannot be exchanged or returned. Any changes to the fabric after confirmation will incur additional costs.
- Measurements will be taken only after receipt of the deposit. Accurate measurements are the responsibility of the client.
#### 3. **Design and Intellectual Property**
- Pictures provided are for inspirational purposes only and may feature designs from other creators. Reproducing these designs is prohibited, as they are protected by intellectual property laws.
#### 4. **Garment Collection and Alterations**
- Confirmation of the dress specifications via text is considered a binding contractual agreement. No refunds will be issued for completed garments.
- Alterations due to changes in client preferences made within one week of the collection or courier date are not permitted.
#### 5. **Hiring Terms**
- The R500 holding fee will be refunded upon the return of the garment in defect-free condition. Any damage or alterations to the garment may result in forfeiture of the holding fee.
#### 6. **Reposting and Promotion**
- The client grants permission for the reposting of images of the garment for promotional purposes.
#### 7. **Cancellation and Refund Policy**
- Cancellations made after the deposit has been paid are subject to forfeiture of the deposit. No refunds will be issued for completed garments or for changes made within one week of the collection or courier date.
